Plot Summary:Sequel to the popular detectives \"Dancing on the sand\"\" and \"\"Dancing on the hot coals\"\". The couple Tatiana and Pavel take on a new case. Young and promising farmer Vasily Tishchin is killed in his house from a hunting rifle. Vasily's wife, Yasya Shchukina, and the murdered man's father, Igor Tishchin, find the loss of their loved one difficult to bear. Pavel recalls that months ago there had already been a tragedy in the Tishchin-Shchukin house: Vasily's father-in-law, Nikolai Shchukin, was killed in an explosion in his own house, and Yasya lost her eyesight due to injuries and is now blind. The case was not pursued and written off as an accident, despite the large number of ill-wishers at the farm tycoons.
